Ingredients

Black pepper (powdered) ⅛ teaspoon
Cauliflower ⅓ big
Coriander leaves ⅓ of a stick
Cumin powder ⅓ tablespoon
Flour (aata) ⅔ cup
Garam masala powder ⅓ tablespoon
Green chillies ¾ piece
Refind 4 teaspoon
Salt ¼-½ teaspoon as per taste

Recipe

Preparation

  1. 1. Grate the cauliflower and keep them aside.

  2. 2. Chop the green chillies and keep them aside.

  3. 3. Take the flour and one-eighth of the salt in a big plate and add water to it in small portions. Knead the flour to make it soft.

  4. 4. Grease your hands with some refind and knead the flour till you get smooth dough. Keep this away for 20-30 min.

Cooking

  1. 1. In a deep bowl or vessel, add the cauliflower, cumin powder, garam masala powder, black pepper powder, green chillies, coriander leaves and salt. Mix the contents well.

  2. 2. Now take the dough and divide it into equal pieces.

  3. 3. Take one small piece and press it with your hand to give it round shape.

  4. 4. Make sure it is not much thick or thin. (Use the dry flour to remove the grease form the piece)

  5. 5. Roll the piece in the form of a chapatti to get a small round shaped piece. (Use dry flour so that the piece does not stick)

  6. 6. Place some filling at the center of one piece and bring the sides of dough together.

  7. 7. Press this dough down. Roll this piece into a round shape. (Use dry flour so that the piece does not stick)

  8. 8. Spread some refind on the pan and place the rolled piece on it.

  9. 9. Cook one side of the paratha and then flip to the other side and cook the other side. Use the refind in between.

  10. 10. When you get brown spots on each side of the paratha and your paratha is crisp, the paratha is cooked.

  11. 11. Make all the parathas in the same way.

  12. 12. Your parathas are prepared and ready to be served. Serve with tomato ketchup or curd as per your choice.
