Ingredients

Arrowroot Flour ¼ tablespoon
Boneless chicken pieces ½ breast pieces
Burger Buns 1 piece
Cheese 1 slice
Coriander leaves ¼ of a stick
Corn 4 pieces
Garam masala powder ⅛ teaspoon
Green chillies ½ piece
Green Chutney 1 teaspoon
Lettuce Leaves 1 piece
Mayonnaise 1 tablespoon
Oil 1 tablespoon
Onions ½ medium
Salt ⅛-¼ teaspoon as per taste
Tomato ketchup 1 teaspoon
Tomatoes ¾ medium

Recipe

Preparation

  1. 1. In a pressure cooker, add the potatoes, golden corn and water. (till the three-fourth of the potatoes are soaked)

  2. 2. Peel off the potatoes. Mash them and keep them aside. Also keep the golden corn aside.

  3. 3. Chop the green chillies, onions and coriander leaves. Keep them aside.

  4. 4. Chop the tomatoes horizontally and keep them aside.

  5. 5. Prepare green chutney using its own recipe.

  6. 6. Slice the burger buns into two horizontally. Keep it aside.

  7. 7. Chop the chicken breasts into small pieces and keep them aside.

Cooking

  1. 1. Heat some oil in a pan and add onions to it. Cook the contents till you get golden brown colour on its all sides.

  2. 2. Now, add the boneless chicken pieces and green chillies to the mixture. Cook the contents till the chicken pieces are cooked properly.

  3. 3. Now, add garam masala powder, arrowroot flour, golden corn, some coriander leaves and salt to the mixture. Mix the contents well.

  4. 4. Divide the mixture into equal parts to make the tikkis.

  5. 5. Apply some oil on your palms and make the tikkis. (Use your palms to give round shape to the tikkis)

  6. 6. Heat some oil in a pan and put the tikkis in it.

  7. 7. Fry the tikkis till a golden brown layer is formed on both sides of the tikki. Take it in a serving bowl or plate.

  8. 8. Remove the excess oil from the tikkis using paper napkins or kitchen towels. Keep them aside.

  9. 9. Heat some oil in a pan and semi fry the sliced burger buns.

  10. 10. Now, take the bottom base of the burger bun and spread some tomato ketchup and green chutney to it.

  11. 11. Place one lettuce leaf followed by chicken tikki on this bun.

  12. 12. Now, place one cheese slice and two tomato slices on top of the tikki.

  13. 13. Top the bun with some mayonnaise and cover the bun with the top of the bun.

  14. 14. Make all the burgers in the same way.

  15. 15. Your dish is prepared and ready to be served. Serve it hot with tomato ketchup.
