Ingredients

Asafoetida / Hing A pinch
Baby Corn 5 - 6
Chickpea flour (besan) 1 teaspoon
Corn flour 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds / jeera ¼ teaspoon
Flour (maida) 2 tablespoon
Garlic Paste ¼ teaspoon
Honey ¼ teaspoon
Oil 11-12 tablespoon
Red Chilli (Powdered) ½ teaspoon
Rice flour 1 teaspoon
Salt ½ teaspoon or as per taste
Semolina / sooji 3-4 tablespoon
Turmeric Powder / Haldi ½ teaspoon

Recipe

Preparation

  1. 1. In a deep bowl or vessel, add rice flour, gram flour, corn flour, red chilli powder, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, asafoetida and salt. Mix the contents well.

  2. 2. Add water in small portions to the mixture and mix the contents till you get thick consistency.

  3. 3. Add baby corn to the mixture and coat the baby corn well.

  4. 4. Keep the mixture aside and allow the contents to marinate for 20-30 minutes.

Cooking

  1. 1. Roll each baby corn in the rice rava.

  2. 2. Heat the oil in a kadai and add coated baby corn to it.

  3. 3. Fry the baby corn on low flame till you get golden brown colour on all sides of the baby corn.

  4. 4. Do this for all the baby corn.

  5. 5. Your dish is prepared and ready to be served. Serve with chilli sauce or tomato ketchup as per your choice.
