Ingredients

Almonds 10 pieces
Cardamom powder ⅙ tablespoon
Cashew nuts ⅛ teaspoon
Ghee ¼ tablespoon
Khoa 1⅓ teaspoon
Milk 1⅓ cup
Pistachios 10 pieces
Sugar ⅓ cup

Preparation

  1. 1. Soak the almonds (leaving a few behind) in some warm water for about 30 minutes.

  2. 2. Now, wash the almonds with normal water. Peel off the almonds and keep them aside.

  3. 3. Take out the pistachios from its outer shell and keep them aside.

  4. 4. Chop the remaining almonds and same number of pistachios. Keep them aside.

Cooking

  1. 1. In a mixer grinder, add the pistachios (non-chopped), almonds, khoa, cardamom powder, half of the sugar and some milk.

  2. 2. Grind the contents till you get a smooth mixture.

  3. 3. Boil the remaining milk in a pan or kadai.

  4. 4. Once the milk starts to boil, add the grinded mixture to it. Boil the contents for 2-3 minutes.

  5. 5. Now, add the remaining sugar to the mixture and turn off the flame.

  6. 6. Transfer the mixture into serving bowls or serving glasses as per your choice.

  7. 7. Garnish each bowl or glass with chopped almonds and pistachios.

  8. 8. Your dish is prepared and ready to be served.
