Ingredients

Black pepper (powdered) ⅙ teaspoon
Capsicum ⅓ small
Coriander leaves ⅓ of a stick
Coriander seeds ⅓ teaspoon
Cumin seeds / jeera ⅙ teaspoon
Garam masala powder ⅙ teaspoon
Ginger + garlic paste ⅓ teaspoon
Green chillies ⅔ pieces
Mushrooom 70 gram
Oil 2 tablespoon
Onions ⅓ medium
Red Chilli (Powdered) ⅙ teaspoon
Tomatoes ⅓ medium

Recipe

Preparation

  1. 1. Wash the mushrooms and soak them in water for 10-15 minutes.

  2. 2. Chop the capsicum, onions, tomatoes and green chillies. Keep them aside.

Cooking

  1. 1. Heat half of the oil in a pan or kadai and add coriander seeds, ginger + garlic paste, cumin seeds and the onions to it.

  2. 2. Cook the contents till you get golden brown colour on all sides of the onions.

  3. 3. Add green chillies and tomatoes to the mixture. Cook the contents for 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4. Transfer this mixture in a mixer grinder. Grind the mixture till you get a smooth paste.

  5. 5. Heat the remaining oil in the same pan or kadai and add mushrooms to it.

  6. 6. Cook the contents till the mushrooms shrink in size and turn brown in colour.

  7. 7. Now, add red chilli powder, black pepper powder and capsicum to the mixture. Mix the contents well and cook for 4-5 minutes.

  8. 8. Add water (as per your need) and garam masala powder to the mixture and mix the contents well.

  9. 9. Garnish with coriander leaves.

  10. 10. Your dish is prepared and ready to be served.
