Ingredients

Almonds 2 piece
Bottle Gourd / Lauki 50 gram
Cardamom powder ⅛ teaspoon
Cashew nuts 3 piece
Desi ghee ¼ tablespoon
Milk ¾ cup
Raisins ⅛ tablespoon
Saffron strands 2 pieces

Recipe

Preparation

  1. 1. Peel off the bottle gourd, grate it and keep it aside.

  2. 2. Chop the cashew nuts and almonds. Keep them aside.

Cooking

  1. 1. Heat the ghee in a pan or kadai and add bottle gourd to it. Cook the contents on medium flame for 4-5 minutes. Keep the mixture aside.

  2. 2. Heat the milk in another pan for 3-4 minutes.

  3. 3. Add cardamom powder, raisins and saffron strands to the mixture. Cook the contents for 2-3 minutes.

  4. 4. Now, add the bottle gourd mixture to this. Cook the contents for about 5 minutes.

  5. 5. Garnish with chopped cashew nuts and almonds.

  6. 6. Your dish is prepared and ready to be served.
