Ingredients

Carrot ½ medium
Chat masala powder ⅓ teaspoon
Cheese ½ piece cubed
Coriander leaves ½ of a stick
Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder ⅓ teaspoon
Garlic Cloves 2 pieces
Green peas 42 grams
Oil 1½ teaspoon
Onions ½ big
Pasta 1⅓ cup
Red Chilli (Powdered) A Pinch ( ⅔ teaspoon)
Salt A Pinch (⅔ teaspoon) or as per taste
Tomatoes ⅔ medium
Turmeric Powder / Haldi A Pinch ( ⅙ teaspoon)

Preparation

  1. 1. Peel off the carrots, chop them and keep them aside.

  2. 2. Grate the cheese and keep it aside.

  3. 3. Chop the onion, tomatoes, carrots, garlic cloves and coriander leaves. Keep them aside.

  4. 4. In a pan, add green peas and water. (till peas are completely submerged) Boil the contents and keep them aside.

  5. 5. In a pan or kadai heat the water (three times that of the pasta) and add half of the salt to it.

  6. 6. When the water starts to boil, add pasta to it. Cook the contents till the pasta are firm to bite. (Keep in mind the pasta should not turn too soft)

  7. 7. Drain off the water and keep the pasta aside.

Cooking

  1. 1. Heat the oil in a pan or kadai and add the garlic cloves and onions to it.

  2. 2. Cook the contents till the onions turn golden brown in colour on all sides.

  3. 3. Now, add the tomatoes to the mixture and cook the contents till the tomatoes turn soft.

  4. 4. Add the coriander powder, remaining salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and chaat masala powder to the mixture. Mix the contents well.

  5. 5. Now, add some water, (as needed) to the mixture. Cook the mixture for 2-3 minutes.

  6. 6. Add the carrots and green peas to the mixture. Mix the contents till the vegetables are well coated with the masalas.

  7. 7. Now, add the pasta to the mixture and mix the contents well.

  8. 8. Sprinkle some water to the mixture and cook the contents on low flame for 2-3 minutes.

  9. 9. Garnish with coriander leaves and grated cheese.

  10. 10. Your dish is prepared and ready to be served.
